Regler Express
1. The EXPRESS product (as defined below) offered on the respective channel of NordicBet website is operated by Inversiones Destino Caliente, S.A in Costa Rica (the Operator).
EXPRESS (or EXPRESS game) shall mean any web-based scratch-and-win game, offered and operated by the Operator that is played by clicking on designated areas of the Ticket (as defined below) to reveal information used to determine the Ticket’s prize value.
Ticket shall mean either a pre-selected virtual card or a virtual card of Player’s or Customer’s choice using the marker, containing the hidden information used to determine the Ticket’s prize value. Tickets are stored in NordicBet database. Neither the Operator nor NordicBet will know in advance which Tickets contain Prizes.
Batch shall mean a single series of certain number of Tickets issued by the Operator with a certain prize pool, all as notified on the NordicBet website from time to time. A Batch shall be valid for the time period so notified on the NordicBet website but in no case shall the validity of any Batch exceed 24 months as of issue of the Batch. If the currency of a specific currency ticket batch is replaced with another currency, the ticket batch for the replaced currency will be cancelled.
The Operator reserves the right to release a number of Batches in different currencies at the same time. The currency of a Batch is made known on the NordicBet website. A Customer may play EXPRESS only from a Batch in the same currency as his or her NordicBet account currency, e.g. a Norwegian Customer may only play EXPRESSin NOK.
2. These general rules for EXPRESS (the EXPRESS Rules) form an integral part of the NordicBet Rules (the Rules) and are applicable to any EXPRESS game. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, unless specified otherwise herein, the NordicBet Rules are also applicable to EXPRESS games.
3. EXPRESS may be played for free (for entertainment value only) or against payment by using a NordicBet account. Persons playing EXPRESS for free are referred to as the Players whereas persons playing EXPRESS against payment are referred to as the Customers.
4. Regardless of whether EXPRESS is played for free or against payment, participation in EXPRESS is available only for persons complying with the minimum age requirement as set out in Rule 1.7.
5. A Prize may be won only in EXPRESS games that are played against payment. Prize or Prizes shall mean any amount, bonus or reward that may be won through playing any EXPRESS game. Specific prizes are described in the Ticket or description of EXPRESS game and/or other any advertising material relating to EXPRESS.
6. The Prize won will be added to the Customer’s account or otherwise handed over to the Customer only after the Customer has accepted the win by clicking on "Verify win". If the Customer fails to verify the win, the Prize will be verified and paid out or handed over to the Customer automatically after 24 hours. In the event the Customer does not or cannot accept any Prize for any reason within 7 days after winning the same, the Prize will be forfeited. Where the Customer is required to claim the prize in person, they must provide proper identification.
7. The Operator reserve the right to refuse to award any Prize to a Customer who they decide (in its sole discretion) has violated the Rules or gained unfair advantage in participating in EXPRESS or won any Prize by using fraudulent means. The Operator also reserves the right to withhold any Prize before reasonably verifying the eligibility (incl. identity) of the Customer.
If the Customer is unable to receive the Prize in accordance with these Rules, the Prize will be forfeited.
8. No Prize is transferable. No other family members, friends, or any other person will be able to receive a Prize on the Customer’s behalf. In the event that the Prize specified in the Ticket or otherwise becomes unavailable for any reason, the Operator may substitute a prize of similar or equal kind or value.
9. The Operator/NordicBet are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected Prize acceptances. All taxes and/or duties due on a Prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Customer.
10. By participating in any EXPRESS game involving a Prize, the Customer grants the Operator/NordicBet exclusive permission to use their name, character, photograph, voice and likeness in connection with EXPRESS and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
11. By participating in an EXPRESS game, a Player and/or Customer is deemed to have accepted the EXPRESS Rules, the Rules and the EXPRESS specific terms (if any), and deemed to have confirmed that they meet the eligibility requirement. If a Player and/or Customer do not agree to the EXPRESS Rules , the Rules and any applicable EXPRESS specific terms, participation in EXPRESS should be avoided.
Participation in EXPRESS shall be null and void where this is prohibited by law.
12. EXPRESS is operated under the jurisdiction of Costa Rica. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Costa Rican law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Costa Rican courts.
13. EXPRESS on this site is executed by Inversiones Destino Caliente, S.A. and operated in cooperation with NordicBet. The latter is authorized by the Operator to represent, promote and market the services of the Games. Further, NordicBet is authorized by the Operator to receive, hold and pay funds in relation to Customers for the purpose of transactions and settlements regarding the Games. EXPRESS is a stand-alone service that is neither provided under nor included in the provisions of the Malta license held by NordicBet.
